Design Guide Workshops

An opportunity for architects and designers to experience at first hand a unique design tool - The Yorkon Design Guide.

The growing demand for off-site construction as a high-quality, efficient and sustainable alternative to traditional site-based methods provides new challenges to architects and designers. Last year the Yorkon Design Guide was launched, providing a comprehensive and practical tool for designing for steel-framed modular systems.

Both the Design Guide and the supporting workshops proved to be huge successes, which is why Yorkon has added three more of the popular Design Guide workshops to its events programme.

The free sessions will demonstrate how to work with different module sizes and building features, such as lifts and stairs. The Design Guide also helps CAD users to develop fast and accurate drawings for specific projects. The workshops will be held at the RIBA, London on 2nd October 2008.
