Your Yorkon building is designed and manufactured at our state-of-the-art 250,000m2 production facility in York.

Five production lines are situated in a series of purpose-designed production halls and factory units. Modern plant and new manufacturing techniques are continually being applied to maximise output and build quality. Our zero tolerance manufacturing process offers you a building system with less waste and a clean, environmentally friendly construction process. The use of steel-framed modules results in a building that delivers excellent performance with greater energy efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions.

Yorkon's operations extend to dedicated areas for fitting out and storage. So your Yorkon building can be fitted with electrics, plumbing, heating, doors, windows and internal finishes before it leaves the Yorkon production centre – ensuring quality and reduced programme times.

In fact, modular construction can provide you with programme times that are up to half the time of traditional build with no loss of quality and no compromise in performance.

From office procedures right through to the zero tolerance manufacturing process, Yorkon has earned ISO 9001: 2000 certification – the UK quality management systems standard.
• A safer, cleaner site – Compared to HSE statistics on the safety of traditional construction methods, Yorkon solutions increase site safety by 46%.
• Fewer vehicle movements –Delivery of modules is carried out to a predetermined plan. Close communication with the site is maintained so the vehicles are called in from the Yorkon production centre in the correct sequence, prior to cranage. So you can expect 90% fewer vehicle movements and a shorter programme – giving you a safer cleaner site and minimum disruption.
