Yorkon completed the UK's largest retail project to be built using steel-framed modular construction - a 20,000sqft eco store, and reduced a major food retailer's build programme to give them the benefit of an additional eight trading weeks.

• Provide uninterrupted spans. We can engineer the award-winning Yorkon building system to reduce internal columns to sales areas and create uninterrupted spans of up to 28m for superstore construction.
• Deliver purpose-designed retail facilities. We can provide you with retail sales space and customer restaurants, and all support facilities, including back-of-house, staff canteens, office accommodation and staff areas.
• Pre-installed floors. We can factory-install concrete floors and terrazzo tiling to reduce your programme time and improve quality.

• Offer sustainability features. To improve your organisation’s carbon footprint, we can provide:

o Roof-mounted photovoltaic panels to generate electricity
o A high level of glazing for natural light
o Sun pipes
o Rainwater harvesting
o Lobby areas to main entrances with sliding doors to reduce heat loss
